Greetings in Jesus!

Isaiah 60:1 tells us this: “Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the LORD is risen upon you.”

The Prophet Isaiah wrote this scripture hundreds of years before Christ was born, and today, we continue to celebrate this marvelous Savior. Jesus Christ came to be not only “a” light to the world but “THE” light that is needed to guide us!

Not only does His life show light to our darkened paths, but He is filled with purity as He washes us whiter than snow. Yet, this washing can only come if we accept what Jesus did on the Cross for us, as He shed His blood for us, so we are forgiven.

Jesus Christ should be the center of everything! He wants to be the center of our church, families, and of course, our individual lives. We know today that He should be the center of our worship as we gather as the body of Christ!

On this Sunday, I pray we remind ourselves of the importance of Christ in all we face now and in the years to come!

John 8:12 (NKJV) [12] Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness but have the light of life.”
