This holy season reminds us of the most extraordinary announcement ever made: God has come among us in Jesus Christ. At Christmas, we rejoice not only as recipients of this Good News but as its heralds—called to share the hope and joy of Christ with a world longing for light and life.

Our witness often speaks loudest through the way we live. For many, the only “Bible” they will read is the testimony of our lives. Let us strive to reflect Christ’s love in our homes, workplaces, and communities, so that others may see in us the living announcement: “Unto you is born a Savior.”

We warmly invite you—and those you love—to join us in celebrating the Nativity of Our Lord. Consider making a list of five to ten people you can personally invite to experience the beauty and reverence of this season.

A Reflection on Hope and Light

In a world often shadowed by uncertainty, Christmas shines as a radiant reminder that light has come into the darkness. The birth of Christ is God’s promise fulfilled—a Savior who brings hope that does not fade and peace that surpasses understanding.

As the prophet declared, “The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light” (Isaiah 9:2). That light is Jesus, who enters our lives to dispel fear and renew joy. This season invites us to carry that light—through kindness, forgiveness, and love—so others may glimpse the hope we have in Him.

Closing Prayer

O God of hope and light,
We thank You for sending Your Son into our world of shadows.
Fill our hearts with His peace, our homes with His joy,
And our lives with His radiant love.
Help us to shine Your light in every place we go,
That others may know the Savior born for all.
Through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
